For Easter this year, I decided to do some decorated sugar cookies. (Last year I made a couple of cakes for Easter, so I wanted to do something different this time.)
I made each of my family members their own personalized bunny cookie inside a funky, colorful frame. The "grass" the bunny sits on is a custom Easter sprinkle mix, too. It was fun to design each cookie for the person I was giving it to, but I must admit I am glad I have a small family!
I also made some cookies for my church family. These all featured pink buttercream flowers piped onto a shaped sugar cookie with purple and green accents. They were a big hit, so it was worth the effort and cramped hands to pipe all of the flower petals!
