I haven't been involved in Girl Scouts since 5th grade, but I used to love my Girl Scouts leaders and troops. So when my former Girl Scouts leader asked me to make an end-of-year cake for them, I was honored. There are five troops that needed to be represented on one sheet cake, so I decided to divide the cake into fifths and frost each section to look like that troop's vest. From left to right are the Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, and Seniors/Ambassadors. I included each troop's numbers, as well as some patches they earned this year, all made from hand-painted fondant. The cake itself was half vanilla and half chocolate, all frosted with buttercream. Congrats to all the Girl Scouts who are bridging this year!
