Easter Cake with Chocolate "Friends"

This adorable Easter cake is red velvet with cream cheese frosting colored to look like blue sky. Green sanding sugar represents grass, and there are six "friends" encircling the cake: two gray bunnies with carrots, two lambs with pink scarves, and two chicks with bow ties. The animals are all homemade white chocolates colored as needed with edible food coloring. To decorate the top of the cake, I used an Easter sprinkle mix with orange carrots; blue, yellow, and green eggs; white pearlized bunnies, and green balls and stick sprinkles.
