Yoda Takes the Star Wars Cake

Although I am not a big Star Wars fan (sorry!), I did enjoy making this Star Wars cake for a 7-year-old's birthday. It's a chocolate cake with homemade caramel filling and buttercream frosting, covered in black fondant. The stars are a combination of white sprinkles and piped buttercream, and all of the light sabers are piped buttercream, too. Yoda, the #7, and the Star Wars logo are fondant. I was happy to see that the birthday boy loved his cake (they sent me a video)!
